New site for friends of sauna

Sauna, Sisu & Sibelius are a central part of the Finnish national identity. The Finns have used the sauna as a place to cleanse the mind, rejuvenate and refresh the spirit. The sauna is still an important part of daily life, and families bathe together in the home sauna. Because the sauna was often the cleanest structure and had water readily available, Finnish women also gave birth in the sauna.

New site for friends of sauna – visitsauna.fi – was opened this spring. There are interesting articles, interviews and experiences about sauna and well-being in the site. Sauna products and services are also presented.

Articles include information how to take a bath at a Finnish sauna, natural recipes for hair care and beauty tips for sauna. You can also read and comment on the best of sauna blogs.

Know sauna. Love sauna. Visit Sauna!
