On 13-15 June the Helsinki City Tourist & Convention Bureau participated in the Savonlinna Midnight Sun Workshop 2011 organised by Comma Group Oy. The Marketing Team was repre-sented by Marketing Assistant Carolina Laaksonen. The event was attended by around a dozen buyers and sellers. Despite the rainy weather, both international travel agents and local tourism representatives were impressed by the medieval-style holiday centre Järvisydän (“Heart of the Lake”), its service-minded staff and interesting activities. Everyone agreed that the event was a success.
