The favorite time of the year for many gastronomes is here, the crayfish season that is!

One of the most atmospheric and stylish crayfish parties will be held at the traditional Kulosaari Casino. In a great setting, on the beautiful Kulosaari Island one can enjoy the so called scissor hands as well as the popular crayfish jazz evenings.

Delicious Finnish noble crayfish are combined with a dance on three special evenings during the crayfish season, on the 18th and 25th of August and the 1st of September. During these events one can enjoy even listening to traditional and jolly schnapps songs.

Tasty Finnish noble crayfish are also enjoyed at the A&S restaurants Saari and Saaristo. Restaurant Saari has long crayfish traditions and is one of the most popular places in town to have them. The restaurant has also a stunning terrace. Crayfish are available until the end of September. Restaurant Saaristo on the other hand has a spacious dining hall that fits up to 400 persons but functions also as a romantic setting for smaller parties, even couples.
