Calm sail: a campfire club arrives in Helsinki!

The jewel of the Töölönlahti Bay, café kiosk Tyyni (in English: calm), which is located next to the Opera house on a great viewpoint on a rock terrace built next to the bay, is  hosting this summer for the first time a campfire club with live music. This club enables town residents to grill some sausages in one of the most beautiful Helsinkian settings while enjoying some community singing at the same time.

The rule that says “size doesn’t matter, quality does” gets emphasized in this café kiosk; there is only 24 customer places in Tyyni, and they are all located outdoors.

The sausages grilled during these club events are all organic and there is a vegetarian alternative, soy sausages, as well available.

During the club evenings there will be folk band called Taikatuu playing music at café kiosk Tyyni.

The campfire club evenings are organized five times: on the 7th, 10th, 11th, 14th of August at 7pm, and 15th of August at 8pm.

I’ll be back in Helsinki in late September – too late for this unfortunately. A recent post on Helsinki on my blog was awarded Blogger of the month by Easy Jet. I think the city should take credit for this – it is such a beautiful place. I can’t wait to get back.
