Next weekend the young Helsinkians will once more gather to celebrate urban culture, indie music and never-ending summer to the artificial pastures of Suvilahti. Flow is a festival that doesn’t primarily boast with a major line-up, but relies more on the unique spirit of the event. So the festival is, as usual, already sold out before the event kicks off – but you can luckily still score day tickets for Friday and Sunday.
Flow’s leading idea in artist recruitment has traditionally been the harvesting of upcoming genre names. Therefore the mediocre visitor hasn’t necessarily ever heard the names of artist’s he finds him-/herself listening to. So you can truly consider Flow as a possibility to broaden your taste for music. This year the focus is mainly on indie pop. Regarding taste – this festival doesn’t limit your choices to wiener and fries, but pampers you with different cross-cooking flavors to make the day!
So pack your ironic sunglasses, boost up your shoulder pads and trim your mustache – the Flow is about to begin!
