Conference and congress centre Helsinki Congress Paasitorni rose to top one in the Helsinki metropolitan region in a national Congress Venue Survey conducted by research company TNS Gallup. Paasitorni was praised especially for its skilled staff and willingness to be of service as well as its sales service and customer communication.

The strengths of the eleven leading congress venues in Finland were reviewed by their clients who were interviewed by telephone in the autumn of 2011.

The overall performance of Helsinki Congress Paasitorni was estimated as excellent or very good by 67 per cent of the clients who had used its services. This is further reflected in the estimates of clientele planning to return as up to 84 per cent of the respondents were absolutely certain or very likely to use Paasitorni’s services again.

Located in Siltasaari, close to Hakaniemi market, and within easy reach of many different means of transport, Paasitorni received credit also for its central location and good traffic connections.

Next year the clientele of Paasitorni can enjoy even wider services when the congress centre’s expansion work, including a new Scandic Paasi hotel, three new conference spaces, and the new Paasin Kellari restaurant – all under the same roof – will be completed.

In addition to Helsinki Congress Paasitorni the research also involved the Finlandia Hall, Helsinki Fair Centre, the Marina Congress Center, Taitotalo Congress Centre, Dipole, Hanasaari, Sibelius Hall, the Cloth Factory, Tampere Hall and Jyväskylä Pavilion.
