Easiest way to get to the Hartwall Arena from the city center is by train. All the regional trains stop at Pasila. You will find your way to the Hartwall Arena by assistance of the official championship guides from all the platforms. During the five-minute walk to the Arena you have just enough time to perfect your victory songs.

During the world championship games the yard of Hartwall Arena is called Hockey Garden. It’s the perfect place to meet other hockey fans.

Junior hockey player Kimmo Huusko

You should first follow the example of young ice hockey player Kimmo Huusko. He had two Finnish flags painted to his face to support the Finnish team. From the very same desk you can get the legendary helmet made of cardboard - free of charge. It’s propably one of the most recognizable fan products when it comes to the Ice Hockey World Championships. You might remember this helmet model from NHL – Even Wayne Gretzky and Jari Kurri used to wear the same model. This free helmet gives you the appearance of a true hockey fan. To make sure your favorite country is seen on the Arena, take along a free flag of your country aswell! 

Before entering the Arena you can have a taste of the atmosphere in the Hall of Fame restaurant. Just as the Hockey Garden, also the Hall of Fame is open for everybody.

You are guaranteed a good atmosphere at Hall of Fame – Music, games on several widescreens and joyful, loud hockey fans!

Now that you have flags on your face and the official helmet covers your head, you can buy either an official team hockey jersey, a T-shirt or a Hockey Bird beanie to complete your look. Official Championship pins cost 5 euros and they are available at the Hockey Garden and inside the Arena, along with other official fan products.
