This Christmas Hans Välimäki’s creation, a co-operation between the dis-tinquished restaurant Chez Dominique and the design hotel Klaus K, represents the alternative for those searching for luxurious Christmas lunches and dinners in Helsinki. The Christmas Wonderland goes under the name Christmas Tivoli and was opened the 19th of November.

The organizers have got their inspiration for the decor from the well known Home Alone movies from the 90’s so until the 21st of December Klaus K’s Rake Sali has an American Christmas decoration and there is a jukebox playing in the background. The restaurant Ilmatar has a more restrained and intimate atmosphere, but in both you will find authentic Christmas spirit. 

This year’s theme is a tivoli, where nobody feels left home alone but surrounded by friends. The Christmas buffet is set on a circulating carousel.

The Christmas restaurant is meant primarily for groups but is suitable also for smaller parties. Supplementary services, that can be combined with the restaurant services, are also available at the Christmas Wonderland. You can for instance try Finnish sauna or spend your pre-party and have some mulled wine in Klaus K’s design Ahjo bar.
